Description
The Vaccinium vitis-idaea 'Koralle' is a lingonberry with small white berries that become increasingly red as they ripen. This shrub blooms with clusters of white flowers and is ideal for use as ground cover. In winter, this lingonberry retains its leaves and is frost-resistant. The berries are edible from September and are mainly used in fruit compote and jam. They go very well with game dishes. It is a plant with a high ornamental value and is therefore often used as a container plant.
