Nectarine variety: Prunus Persica 'Fire Top' nectarine
The nectarine 'Fire Top' is a tasty, yellow fruit that ripens in the middle of the season. The nectarine tree has a medium strong and semi-erect leaf, with a good self-pollination. It flowers beautifully with rose-shaped flowers that are not very sensitive to winter frost. The fruit is medium sized, round. The skin is smooth and has almost 100% a glossy dark red to purple colour. The flesh is very yellow, slightly reddish around the stone, firm and juicy, with a spicy-aromatic flavour and ideal acidity. The stone is partly detachable and the fruits store well.
