Description
Unique products: the Prunus 'Athos'® and Prunus 'Porthos'® are the very first cherry bushes that can be planted in pots or open ground. The cherry bushes produce many delicious, very dark red cherries that can be harvested in June/July, depending on weather conditions. The cherries are medium-sized and sweet-tasting.
In the pot, the plants will not grow taller than about 100 to 150 cm, depending on the pot size. In the open ground, Porthos grows to a maximum of about 200 to 250 cm and Athos about 200 cm, depending on the location. Both varieties are very hardy and not susceptible to disease.
