This black currant is a new highly productive berry variety. Ribes nigrum 'Tiben' is best known for because this variety produces large numbers of juicy berries in large clusters when young. It is well hardy and resistant to late frosts. This plant attracts bees and butterflies during flowering. Another name for ribes nigrum 'Tiben' is also black currant.
