Rhubarb is deliciously sour and used in all kinds of dishes from sweet to savoury and easy to grow yourself.
It is a beautiful plant, hardy perennial, not evergreen.
Sometimes the plant will flower in the spring, but you want this energy to go mainly to the growth of the juicy stems. We then cut these off.
