Heuchera micrantha 'Palace Purple', also known as Purplebell, is a popular perennial with beautiful reddish-brown to purple-red leaves. It flowers in summer with small, creamy-white flowers in panicles rising above the leaves. The plant grows about 50 cm tall and remains semi-evergreen in mild winters, giving your garden some colour even then.
It is best in semi-shade or sun, but not in bright sun, otherwise the leaves may burn. Use good, permeable garden soil with some humus. This strong plant is perfect as a ground cover or border plant, requires little care and combines beautifully with other plants. An easy and striking choice!
