This bamboo species is pole-forming, which means it does not proliferate through the garden. Fargesia is excellent as a partition but can also stand alone. It is hardy and evergreen. Because the bracts remain on the young stems, this bamboo species gets a beautiful green-white effect. This plant does not proliferate but can easily reach 3.5 metres in height!
