Description
Fagus sylvatica Is the green hornbeam hedge, one of the most popular hedges today. The leaves of the hornbeam hedge turn brown in autumn and winter but remain on the tree. As soon as new leaves develop in spring, the hornbeam hedge drops the old leaves to make room for the fresh new green leaves.
Did you know that the place where most mosquitoes breed is a conifer hedge? You won't have to deal with that with a beech hedge!!!
