Delphinium 'Magic Fountain Dark Blue' - Larkspur - Rootstocks - 5 pieces

Delphinium 'Magic Fountain Dark Blue', also known as Larkspur, is a beautiful perennial with striking dark blue flowers. It flowers in summer and early autumn and grows to about 100 cm high. The leaves are fine and slightly hairy. This plant likes to be in sun or semi-shade in soil that allows good water penetration. It is hardy, but the leaves do not remain green in winter.

Cut away the old stems and leaves in early spring, but do this when it is no longer freezing. After the first bloom, cut the flowers back to 20 cm, then it often blooms again in late summer. Perfect for a cottage garden, next to roses or in a planter. Bees also like it, and you can cut or dry the flowers for a vase. Note: the plant is poisonous, so handle with care!
