Citrus auratifolia 'lime' also called lime tree gives a lovely sweet scent during flowering on the terrace or balcony. It is an easy plant and gives good fruit. Treat the lime as a real tub plant, which means that it must be brought inside in the winter in a conservatory or frost-free outdoor greenhouse. In a conservatory this plant flowers almost all year round. Pruning can be done in September, then leave 1/3 of the shoots and the plant will remain nice and full.
