Photinia Fraseri 'Red Robin' - glossy missile: Photinia Fraseri 'Red Robin' is a glossy shrub with beautifully red discoloured leaves as it buds, and clusters of small white flowers during flowering. This shrub can also be set up as a hedge.
Waldsteinia ternata - golden strawberry ground cover: Waldsteinia ternata also known as golden strawberry is a hardy evergreen groundcover, giving weeds virtually no chance where this plant covers the ground. The leaves and the sheet of yellow flowers look a bit like those of the wild strawberry, hence the name. The leaves turn reddish-brown in autumn and come back fresh green in get spring. Be sure to water this plant sufficiently during warm periods, as it does not root deeply but superficially.
