This blackcurrant is a very productive berry species. Ribes nigrum 'Titania' is mainly known for cassis that is made from this berry. This variety produces large numbers of juicy berries in large bunches when young. It is very winter hardy and resistant to late frost. This plant attracts bees and butterflies during flowering. Another name for the ribes nigrum 'Titania' is also blackcurrant.
