The Acer palmatum 'Emerald Lace' is a Japanese maple. It grows mainly in width and can grow up to 250 cm wide. Japanese maples are often placed at the edge of the water because of the view they provide when they grow over the water. The color of the leaves changes to a beautiful yellow/red in the fall.
