Care tips: Cherry trees and shrubs, such as Prunus 'Athos'® and Prunus 'Porthos'®, thrive in well-drained, fertile soil in a sunny location. Regular watering is crucial, especially during dry periods. Add organic fertiliser in spring and mulch around the base to retain moisture. Protect young trees from frost.
Maintenance: Annual pruning promotes healthy growth and quality harvests. Remove dead, diseased branches and thin out excess fruit for better development. Net the trees during harvest to deter birds.
